Recap |  Box Score |  Quotes

• Oklahoma set a program record for points scored in a half with a 69-28 lead at the break.  The previous record was 66, set against Midwestern State (Wichita Falls, Texas) on Jan. 16, 1984.

• OU's 62-point margin of victory was its largest ever in a season opener, its seventh largest at home and eighth largest overall in the program's history.

• Oklahoma has now won 14 consecutive home openers and is 29-9 all-time in its first game at the Lloyd Noble Center.

• The Sooners' nine 3-point field goal makes in the first half was one shy of the program record for a half of 10 versus Kansas on Feb. 25, 1998.

Aaryn Ellenberg
• Ellenberg scored 28 points, the third highest total of her career.  As a freshman, the guard scored 34 against Ohio State (Dec. 5, 2010), 29 versus Arkansas-Pine Bluff (Dec. 29, 2010) and 28 against Kansas (Jan. 23, 2011).

• Ellenberg had a career-high six assists.

Nicole Griffin
• Griffin matched a career high with 14 point.  Griffin also recorded nine rebounds and four blocks in 22 minutes played.

• Griffin had perfect shooting for the game.  The 6-foot-6 center was 6-for-6 from the field and 2-for-2 at the free throw line.  Griffin had eight games as a freshman with 100 percent field goal shooting.

Whitney Hand
• The redshirt-junior recorded her second career double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds.  Hand's other double-double came in her first game back from an ACL injury against TCU (Jan. 4, 2011) last season when she totaled 24 points and 11 rebounds.

Morgan Hook
• Hook doubled her career best in assists with eight in Sunday's game.  Her previous single-game high was four, set against UT-Pan American on Nov. 26, 2010.
