NORMAN, Okla. -- Due to the current renovation of Howard McCasland Field House, University of Oklahoma officials have announced several changes for the 2011-12 wrestling season. The 13th-ranked Sooners will continue to play all of their home matches at the Field House this season but fans are asked to take note of entrance closures.
The general public is asked to enter at the east side entrance facing Jenkins Avenue. All ticket sales will take place at this entrance. Cash and credit cards will be accepted forms of payment.
The west side entrance will service students, the home and visiting teams player guest lists, media, athletics department staff, recruits and coaches guests. Cash ticket sales will be accepted at the west side entrance, as well.
The south lobby and upper concourse restrooms and concessions will be closed until further notice. Seating will not be allowed in the south end of the upper concourse. The lower level concessions and restrooms will be open.
Oklahoma opens its season on Thursday, Nov. 3, when it hosts Oklahoma City University at 7 p.m.
