NORMAN, Okla. -- The University of Oklahoma women's basketball team introduces four freshmen in 2011-12 that have the enviable task of continuing the program's incredible success. Following the graduation of a senior class that played in two Final Fours and won a record number of games inside the Lloyd Noble Center, this quartet is quickly developing their own identity with the team's returning letterwinners.

OU freshman DaShawn Harden (pronounced Day-shawn) arrives as the top-rated player in the class having been ranked the No. 6 point guard in the ESPN Hoopgurlz 100. Coming from the St. Thomas Aquinas program in Overland Park, Kan., that developed former Sooner Lauren Willis, Harden led her high school team to an undefeated season and state championship last year.

Harden has been a star athlete since she was a pint-sized 5th-grade football player, sprinting by her male classmates with ease. She now has the enviable task of guiding OU's offense as she is one of the candidates to take over as point guard after the departure of two-time All-American Danielle Robinson.

Watch and listen to Harden discuss the transition to college basketball, her fellow freshmen and her Bieber Fever:
