Central Region Finals Match Next for Mihov

TULSA, Okla. – Oklahoma's Tsvetan Mihov looks to claim his second title in over a week's time as the sophomore will take on Drake's Anis Ghorbel in the finals of the USTA/ITA Central Region Championships on Tuesday at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.

Mihov won the OU Invitational last week and advanced to the finals after defeating Oklahoma State's Vlad Bondarenko, 6-3, 6-2, in the semifinals on Monday. This marks the second straight year a Sooner has competed for the Central Region Championship. Last year, OU's Ionut Beleleu downed fellow Sooner Costin Paval to claim the crown.

In doubles, Dane Webb and Paval defeated OSU's Bains and West, 8-6. In the semifinals, the duo fell to Nebraska's second seed, Lindheim and Aumueller, 8-5.
