NORMAN, Okla. -- The University of Oklahoma women's basketball team introduces four freshmen in 2011-12 that have the enviable task of continuing the program's incredible success. Following the graduation of a senior class that played in two Final Fours and won a record number of games inside the Lloyd Noble Center, this quartet is quickly developing their own identity with the team's returning letterwinners.
OU freshman Kaylon Williams is one of two who claim the Sooner State as her home. The Midwest City native was rated the No. 11 power forward in the All Star Girls' Report and 59th overall in the ESPN HoopGurlz 100. Though she's proven to be very responsible, Williams' worst habit is forgetfulness so she litters her dorm room and locker with sticky notes as a reminder of what's next on her schedule.
As you'll see, Williams is full of humor and personality. She also displays that energy on the basketball court where head coach Sherri Coale believes the 6-foot-3 forward will excel in the frontcourt.
Watch and listen to Williams discuss her fellow freshmen, how she made it 18 years without ever eating steak, why she's rarely called by her real first name, and her special talent:
