Robinson Voted Big 12 Player of the Week

IRVING, Texas -- Oklahoma's Danielle Robinson was voted Phillips 66 Big 12 Women's Basketball Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday.
Robinson earned the honor for the second time in three weeks and the third occasion this season.
The senior averaged 26.5 points and shot 50 percent (18-of-36) from the field last week in Oklahoma's two-point loss to No. 6/5 Texas A&M and 82-77 victory at Oklahoma State.
Robinson scored a game-high 33 points versus the Aggies as the Sooner rallied from a 17-point first-half deficit. The Sooners tied the game with eight minutes to play with a Robinson-assisted 3-pointer that followed five straight field goals from the All-American.
In a game that featured 13 lead changes and 11 ties against Oklahoma State, Robinson scored 16 of her 20 points, including a 10-for-10 free throw shooting performance, in the second half. The point guard dished seven assists while counting just one turnover in 34 minutes on the court.
Baylor's Odyssey Sims was named the Big 12 Freshman of the Week.
Robinson and the Sooners face Sims and No. 1 Baylor Wednesday at 7 p.m. in Waco, Texas. The game will be televised on the Sooner Sports Network (COX Ch. 3/703 HD in Oklahoma City and Tulsa, and ESPN Full Court).
