• Oklahoma shot .581 from the field, .444 from 3-point range (8-for-18)  and .833 from the free throw line (15-for-18) in a 73-49 victory over Maryland Eastern Shore to close out its non-conference schedule.  The win was the Sooners' 27th straight at home against non-conference competition and 85th in the last 87 such outings.

• OU used a 14-0 run to pull away after Maryland Eastern Shore tied the score at 39-39 with 12:37 remaining.  The Sooners outscored the Hawks 34-10 over the last 11 minutes.

• Oklahoma's .581 field goal mark was its third best of the year and marked the fifth time it shot better than .500 this season.  OU has 46 percent or better from the field in seven of its last eight games and has shot under 44 percent twice this year.

• Sophomore guard Steven Pledger scored a game-high 19 points for his eighth game this year in double figures.  Pledger upped his team-high scoring average in OU's wins to 15.1 points.  He is shooting .440 from 3-point range (22-for-50) in those eight victories.  He was 3-for-4 from deep tonight.

• Senior Cade Davis recorded his third double-double of his career (first this season) with 11 points and a career-high 12 rebounds.  He was 3-for-7 from the field (all 3-pointers).  

• Freshman guard Cameron Clark finished one rebound shy of a second double-double.  He racked up 14 points and nine rebounds while adding two blocks (career high) and two assists (tied a career high).  He has scored in double figures in four of the last six games and is averaging 13.7 points and 6.2 boards over that six-game stretch.

• Junior forward C.J. Washington came off the bench to record a career-high-tying nine points (second straight game) on 4-for-4 shooting.  He added two rebounds and two blocks.
  
• Sophomore forward Andrew Fitzgerald finished with 11 points on 4-for-6 shooting.  It was the 11th time in 14 games and eighth in the last nine he scored in double figures.

• The point guard combination of Carl Blair (seven) and Calvin Newell (five) amassed 12 assists tonight.  Blair's seven came against just one turnover.

• The Sooners committed 13 first-half turnovers that led to 17 Maryland Eastern Shore points.  In the second half, OU committed just four turnovers which led to just two Hawks points.

• Oklahoma shot .650 from the field in the first half but led by just five (33-28).

• OU's .833 free throw performance (15-for-18) was its best since the second game of the season (.852 against North Carolina Central).

• Maryland Eastern Shore shot just .328 from the field and .150 from behind the arc (3-for-20), but pulled down 15 offensive rebounds (led to nine second-chance points).

• The Sooners finished with a season-high seven dunks tonight, four of them by Clark.  Clark had another slam ricochet out of the net after it was nearly almost all the way through.

• OU improved to 8-0 at home this year.  It is 0-6 away from Lloyd Noble Center.

• The Sooners begin the Big 12 portion of their schedule when they host Texas A&M on Saturday at 3 p.m. CT.
