• Oklahoma breaks the tie in the overall series with Kansas and leads 28-27.  The Sooners have won 14 consecutive meetings with the Jayhawks and have not loss to Kansas since Feb. 20, 1999.

• Oklahoma has started Big 12 play 5-0 for the fifth time (2000, 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2010).  In the five previous seasons OU started 4-0 (includes 2002) it claimed at least a share of the Big 12 regular season title.

• Kansas becomes the Sooners' Big 12 opponent to make have more field goals than turnovers.  The Jayhawks had 18 field goals and 16 turnovers.

• Whitney Hand had a Big 12 career high with 21 points.  Hand was 9-of-15 from the field and made three of six 3-pointers.

• Joanna McFarland had 14 rebounds, her highest total in a Big 12 game and one shy of her career overall best.

• McFarland matched a career high with four assists.

• Aaryn Ellenberg totaled her second straight game of 20 or more points with 28 points against Kansas.  The freshman hit her first five 3-pointers and made 11 of 21 field goals.
