SUNDAY'S GAME PLAN
• No. 14 Oklahoma visits Kansas Sunday, Jan. 23, at 12 p.m., looking to keep its undefeated record in Big 12 play intact.
• Oklahoma has started 4-0 in the Big 12 for the sixth time. The others were 2000, 2002, 2006, 2007 and 2009 -- five of the six seasons OU claimed at least a share of the Big 12 title.
• The game will be televised nationally on Fox Sports Net (COX 37/722 HD in Oklahoma City; COX 27/722 HD in Tulsa) with Brenda VanLengen and Cindy Stein calling the action.
• The radio broadcast with Brian Brinkley will be on KOKC AM 1520 in Oklahoma City and KTBZ AM 1430 in Tulsa.
The Teams
• Oklahoma is ranked No. 14 in the Associated Press Poll and No. 13 in the USA Today/ESPN Coaches' Poll. Kansas is not ranked in either poll.
• The overall series between Oklahoma and Kansas is tied, 27-27; however, the Sooners have won the last 13 meetings. OU has not lost to Kansas since Feb. 20, 1999, a 58-54 win for the Jayhawks in Lawrence. At Allen Fieldhouse, KU holds the advantage, 13-10.

• Sherri Coale is 327-146 (.691) in her 15th season at Oklahoma. She has been the Big 12 Coach of the Year four times.
• Bonnie Henrickson is 111-98 (.531) in her seventh season at Kansas and 269-160 (.627) in her 14th season as a head coach.

PREVIEWING OKLAHOMA
The Sooners enter 2010-11 following back-to-back trips to the Final Four. OU returns eight letterwinners from the squad, including three starters, and introduces five newcomers. Oklahoma was picked by the league's coaches to finish third in the Big 12 Conference this season.
Preseason All-American Danielle Robinson leads the team after a standout junior season in which she averaged 16.8 points and 5.3 assists.
Redshirt sophomore Whitney Hand, the 2009 Big 12 Freshman of the Year who suffered an ACL injury five games into the 2009-10 season returned to action on Jan. 2.
The Sooners introduce five newcomers, including high school All-Americans Aaryn Ellenberg and Nicole Griffin.
In the Polls
The Sooners are No. 13 in the USA Today/ESPN Coaches' Poll and No. 14 in the Associated Press Poll this week.
In the 605 week history of the AP Women's Basketball Top 25 Poll, the Sooners have been listed 206 times, including 185 weeks under Sherri Coale.
Oklahoma has remained in the Top 25 of both polls since the beginning of 2005-06 season, a total of 104 weeks in the AP poll and 101 in the coaches' (including preseason and final polls).
Oklahoma highest ranking in either poll is No. 2, which it was ranked following the 2002 season and for a few weeks in 2008-09. The Sooners ended the past two seasons at No. 4 and No. 3.
Robinson Big 12 Player of the Week
Danielle Robinson earned her second Big 12 Player of the Week honor of the season, and sixth of her career, after averaging 25.0 points, 5.0 steals and 4.0 rebounds in nail-biting victories over Kansas State (Jan. 12) and Texas in overtime (Jan. 16).

PREVIEWING KANSAS
Kansas (14-4, 1-3 Big 12) hosts Oklahoma, searching for its first win at home this season versus a Big 12 team. The Jayhawks won at Colorado, 68-58, and lost close games to Texas Tech and Nebraska (in overtime) before getting hammered by No. 1 Baylor, 76-37, Wednesday night.
The Jayhawks feature a fantastic frontcourt with 6-3 sophomore Carolyn Davis (18.1 points, 8.3 rebounds and a Big 12-leading .657 field goal percentage) and 6-2 junior Aishah Sutherland (11.1 points and 9.0 rebounds per game). Combo guard Monica Engelman (12.6 points) completes a trio that combined for 39 points in Norman last year with each scoring in double figures.
Guard Keena Mays has the fourth best assist-to-turnover ratio in the Big 12 and is fifth in 3-point field goal percentage, shooting with a 43 percent success rate.
Oklahoma native Angel Goodrich, coming off back-to-back season-ending ACL injuries, scores 5.7 points per game.
Sooners Past 4-0 Starts Bred Championships
The five previous times Oklahoma started 4-0 in Big 12 play (2000, 2002, 2006, 2007 and 2009), it won at least a share of the regular season conference title. OU managed a 5-0 start in 2000, 2006, 2007 and 2009.
In 2006, OU became the first team to finish 16-0 in regular season Big 12 play. Those Sooners also swept through the conference tournament as part of 26 consecutive wins versus Big 12 teams between Jan. 2006 and Jan. 2007.
Oklahoma's Big 12 Dominance
No Big 12 team has won more games, titles or honors since the formation of conference than Oklahoma.
Since the league was formed for the 1996-97 season, the Sooners have appeared in three Final Fours (2002, 2009, 2010) and have the most Big 12 victories and highest overall winning percentage (151-77, .662), all of which have come under Sherri Coale who has been named the Big 12 Coach of the Year a record four times.
The Sooners have won a league-high six regular-season conference crowns and four Big 12 Championship titles. In addition, Oklahoma players have won Big 12 Player of the Year six times, including Courtney Paris, who had a streak of three years taking the award. OU has also tallied five Big 12 Freshmen of the Year, including current Sooners Danielle Robinson (2008) and Whitney Hand (2009).
Oklahoma's 11-game NCAA Championship appearance streak is also the longest active streak among Big 12 teams. Baylor, in second place, has been to the tournament the last seven years.
Seniors Capture Career Home Wins Mark
In their 57th home game on Jan. 19 vs. Texas Tech, the 2011 seniors (Danielle Robinson, Carlee Roethlisberger, Lauren Willis) set the program for home wins over a four-year span. The 2011 class now has 51 wins (50 of 56 at the Lloyd Noble Center), passing the 2010 class, who completed their time with 50 total home wins in 58 games.
Possession Obsession
Oklahoma's defense has stifled its Big 12 opponents, allowing only 77 field goals and forcing 86 turnovers in conference play. This season, the Sooners have scored 358 points off turnovers, 26 percent of their total scoring (1,355 points). OU has allowed just 345 field goals and forced 349 turnovers.
Last Time Out: Oklahoma vs. Texas Tech
Aaryn Ellenberg scored 24 points and hit four 3-pointers to lead a second-half charge as the Sooners overcame a third straight poor shooting performance to beat Texas Tech 71-61 on Wednesday night and remain tied for first place in the Big 12. The Sooners shot only 32 percent but won for the third straight time despite making less than one-third of their shots.
Kierra Mallard had 21 points, 12 rebounds and seven blocks and Chynna Brown scored 17 to lead Texas Tech (16-2, 3-1), which made 48 percent of its field goals but committed 25 turnovers and allowed 18 offensive rebounds, both season highs.
• OU improved its home record to 11-0 and has a home winning streak of 14 games.
• Danielle Robinson scored 16 points for the 102nd double-figure scoring game of her career, matching Phylesha Whaley (1997-2002) for fourth all-time at Oklahoma. Robinson has scored 10 or more in every game this season.
• Whitney Hand missed 12 consecutive 3-pointers (0-for-11 last two games) before hitting her first two in Wednesday's game.
