• Oklahoma head coach Sherri Coale was honored in pregame ceremonies with an Inaugural United Nations NGO Positive Peace Award.  The award, viewed as a 21st century peace prize, honors and recognizes individuals, businesses, athletes, sports teams, entertainers and schools around the world for their positive contributions.  Rotary International District #5770 Governor Glenda Thomas made the presentation to Coale and Adam Barnett, college pastor of Journey Church of Norman, who entered the nomination.

• Former OU All-American and current NFL Cincinnati Bengals defensive back Roy Williams attended the game.

• The 5,142 attendance was a season high.

• Oklahoma's 52 points were its fewest in a win under Sherri Coale.  The 15 first-half points were the second fewest in a half under Coale.

• Oklahoma has season lows in points (52), field goals made (19), field goal percentage (.322), 3-point field goals made and attempted (0 for 14) and assists (7).  The Sooners did not make a 3-point field goal for the first time since shooting 0-for-8 beyond the arc in a loss at Texas A&M last season (March 2, 2010).

• OU's seniors -- Danielle Robinson, Carlee Roethlisberger and Lauren Willis -- notched the 50th home win of their careers in their 56th game (49 of 55  at Lloyd Noble Center), matching the program record for most home wins in a four-year span.  The 2010 senior class had 50 home wins in 58 games.

• After shooting 6-for-29 in the first half, the Sooners made field goals on their first three possessions in the second half and outscored Kansas State 37-25.

• The Sooner defense forced more turnovers (19) than allowed field goals (18).  This season, OU has allowed 303 field goals and forced 299 turnovers.

Danielle Robinson
• Danielle Robinson made seven field goals to give her a career total of 674, passing Jacquetta Hurley for sixth on OU's career list in the category.  Robinson trails LaNeisha Caufield's (1999-2002) 679 by five.

• Robinson was the only Sooner with more than one field goal make (2-of-6) in the second half as the Sooners shot 6-for-29.  Robinson's 20-point performance was the seventh of 20 or more points this season.

Jelena Cerina
• Cerina started the second half and scored a Hand-assisted  layup on OU's first possession.
