NORMAN, Okla. -- Former two-time University of Oklahoma All-American Hunter Haas won his second Nationwide Tour event of the year and fourth overall by shooting a 7-under 64 in the final round of the Albertsons Boise Open in Boise, Idaho, on Sunday.

Haas' career-low-tying round gave him a one-shot win over Daniel Summerhays at the par-71 Hillcrest Country Club. Summerhays entered the day with a 3-stroke lead over Haas.

"I was in my hotel room last night and thought that I had to have the low round of the day," said Haas following the win in his red OU shirt. "I knew that was the only way I was going to have a chance."

The win for the 33-year-old Haas, who tied a tournament record by finishing 21 under par, assures him of a trip to the PGA Tour in 2011. His $130,500 winner's check propelled him from 12th to fourth on the 2010 Nationwide money list ($331,766).

"I'm going to be confident for the rest of the year and hopefully I can take that into the next season," said Haas.

Venezuela's Jhonattan Vegas and Americans Keegan Bradley, Kirk Triplett and John Mallinger tied for third place at 17 under.

Haas also won the Price Cutter Charity Championship in Springfield, Mo., in August.
