NORMAN, Okla. -- Last week, three Sooner fans received a pleasant surprise when they were hand-delivered their season tickets by special visitors from the OU Athletics Department.

On Thursday, soccer head coach Nicole Nelson showed up at the door of William and Lavonne Stockdale to deliver their season tickets.

The Stockdale's have been soccer season ticket holders for four years and also hold tickets for OU football, volleyball, women's basketball, gymnastics, baseball and softball.

The personal ticket deliveries continued Friday morning, as volleyball head coach Santiago Restrepo surprised Dr. Jerry Green with his tickets. Restrepo, his staff and the mascot Boomer met Green at his office in Oklahoma City. Green has held volleyball season tickets for the last five years.

Director of Athletics Joe Castiglione capped off the week Friday afternoon at the home of Roger and Marolyn Pryor in Norman. Castiglione personally delivered the Pryor's their 2010 Sooner football season tickets.

"We're trying to do all sorts of things that really personalize our program," Castiglione said, "because without the personal involvement of our fans, our program wouldn't be able to survive."

The season ticket deliveries were the latest Random Acts of Crimson conducted by the OU Athletics Department as part of our Year of the Fan celebration. It's just another way we are saying "Thank You!" for everything you do. Be on the lookout for Random Acts of Crimson throughout the year, both at OU Athletics events and in the community.
