Capel's USA U18 Games Slated for Online Streaming

NORMAN, Okla. - FIBA Americas has announced that it will stream live on fibaamericas.com all 20 games of its June 26-30 Men's U18 Championship that features a USA team coached by the University of Oklahoma's Jeff Capel

Each day's games, to be played at Bill Greehey Arena on the campus of St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas, will tip-off at 1 p.m., 3 p.m., 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. CT.  FIBA Americas will also make available the play-by-play statistics for each game live online at fibaamericas.com.
 
The FIBA Americas Men's U18 Championship will feature eight national teams from North, South and Central America and the Caribbean and is co-hosted by USA Basketball and San Antonio Sports, the local sports commission.

Capel's U.S. squad is a member of Group B, along with defending FIBA Americas U18 Championship gold medalist Argentina, Mexico and the Virgin Islands.  Group A includes Brazil, Canada, Puerto Rico and Uruguay. 

The U.S. will open preliminary play against the Virgin Islands on Saturday, June 26 at 7 p.m. CT.  It will face Mexico on Sunday at 7 p.m. and will close preliminary play against South American rivals Argentina on Monday at 7 p.m.  The semifinals and finals are slated for Tuesday, June 29 and Wednesday, June 30.
