NORMAN, Okla. -- The Sooners just finished their most successful season in program history after making their first appearance in the Elite Eight of the NCAA Championships. 

Take a look at the Sooners in action as they upset No. 3 Texas, 4-1, in the Round of 16 and fought hard against Roddick's alma mater No. 11 Georgia in the quarterfinals.

Not all of the OU men's tennis teams season is over. Oklahoma senior Andrei Daescu will open play in the 64-player singles draw at the NCAA Championships on May 26. Daescu and freshman Costin Paval will open competition the following day in the 32-team doubles draw.
