"It's an honor just to be among these elite players and the history of women's college basketball," Robinson said, "but to be considered one of the 10 best is amazing to me. Obviously, this is a reflection of the hard work my teammates and coaches put in throughout the season."
Joining the junior guard on the 10-member team were Jayne Appel and Nneka Ogwumike of Stanford; Tina Charles and Maya Moore of Connecticut; Victoria Dunlap of Kentucky; Kelsey Griffin of Nebraska; Amber Harris of Xavier; Jantel Lavneder of Ohio State and Monica Wright of Virginia.
"There are many great student-athletes in the game of women's basketball, but few that possess the qualities to elevate their teams to new heights," WBCA CEO Beth Bass said. "This year's NCAA Division I State Farm Coaches' All-America Team represents the best of women's basketball, and we are delighted to present each of these student-athletes with this honor."
Robinson is the seventh recipient from Oklahoma of State Farm All-America honors following Stacey Dales' selections in 2001 and 2002 and Courtney Paris' four-year sweep (2006-09) of the award.
Robinson led Oklahoma, averaging 16.6 points and 5.3 assists, to its second consecutive Final Four appearance. Robinson was a unanimous selection to the All-Big 12 Team and was named to the conference's all-defensive team for a third straight season.
For the second consecutive season, Moore was presented the State Farm Wade Trophy as the player of the year.
Oklahoma plays Stanford Sunday, April 4, at 6 p.m. in the first game of the NCAA Women's Final Four.
