Sooners Got Talent Set for Monday, April 26

The University of Oklahoma Athletics Department and the OU Student-Athlete Advisory Committee present the inaugural Sooners Got Talent, a talent show featuring student-athletes displaying skills outside of their typical sport of competition.
The event will be held on Monday, April 26 at 7 p.m. at the McCasland Field House. General admission tickets are $5 and may be purchased in advance through the OU Athletics Ticket Office by calling (405) 325-2424 or toll-free at (800) 456-GoOU. Children ages five and under are free, as are OU students with a valid student ID. The box office will also be open on the night of the event.
Performances at Sooners Got Talent will range from a full team song and dance to individuals playing instruments or singing. All sorts of hidden talents will be on display that you would not expect from student-athletes. There will be acts from football, baseball, men's basketball, men's and women's golf, women's gymnastics, rowing, women's tennis and volleyball.
The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) organized this event as a way to give back and support the community that has so graciously supported them. Seventy-five percent of the proceeds will benefit the Children's Hospital at OU Medical Center, with the remaining 25 percent going to OU General Scholarship Fund. Donations will also be accepted.
