Sooners Head to Final Round in Fifth at Robert Kepler

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Oklahoma men's golf squad stands fifth after 36 holes of the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate. The Sooners fired rounds of 295 and 293 for a first-day tally of 588 (+20) at the Scarlet Course at The Ohio State University.
Oklahoma is just eight shots behind third-place Northwestern, while Penn State and Eastern Michigan hold the overnight lead at +7.
Pacing the Sooners was Ben Blundell (73-71) at 144 (+2). A stroke back in a share of 10th is Riley Pumphrey (74-71). Liam Logan (75-73) is tied for 23rd, while Ryan Sirman is in a share of 41st at +10. Rounding out the team scoring is Tyler Rody (78-78) at 156 (+14).
OU opens up its final round off the first tee tomorrow at 8:30 a.m. (CT). The Sooners are paired with Charlotte and Kent State.
