KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Oklahoma junior guard Danielle Robinson was named to the Associated Press' All-America Women's Basketball Team announced Tuesday.

It is the seventh appearance for a Sooner on the AP All-America team.  Stacey Dales was a first-team member in 2001 and 2002 and Courtney Paris (2006-09) was the first four-time All-American.  Robinson was an honorable mention to the team last year.

Robinson has led the Sooners to its second straight Elite Eight, where they will play Kentucky Tuesday night at 8 p.m., averaging 16.7 points and 5.3 assists.

UConn's Maya Moore led the first team with teammate Tina Charles, Nebraska's Kelsey Griffin, Virginia's Monica Wright and Ohio State's Jantel Lavender.

The second team consisted of Oklahoma State senior Andrea Riley, Stanford senior Jayne Appel and sophomore Nnemka Ogwumike, Middle Tennessee State senior Alysha Clark and Baylor freshman Brittney Griner.

Robinson was joined on the third team by Duke junior Jasmine Thomas, Kentucky junior Victoria Dunlap, Delaware freshman Elena Delle Donne and Xavier junior Amber Harris.

Robinson is a finalist for the State Farm Wade Trophy and All-America Team, as well as a candidate for the Wooden Award and Nancy Lieberman Award, given to the nation's top point guard.
