NORMAN, Okla. - No. 31 Oklahoma remains unbeaten at home as the Sooners claimed their fourth win over a nationally-ranked opponent Sunday, defeating No. 65 Colorado, 4-3.

"Today was another great win for us," OU head coach David Mullins said. "Colorado competed extremely well but we were able to do just enough to get to four points."

Oklahoma (12-2, 3-1 Big 12) improves to 8-0 at home and 4-2 against ITA-ranked teams after beating Colorado (7-8, 0-4 Big 12).  This season marks only the fifth time in program history that a Sooner squad has gone 12-2.

The Sooners won the doubles point quickly with wins at all three positions, paced by dominating performances at the No. 1 and No. 2 positions.

No. 21 Ana-Maria Constantinescu and Teona Tsertsvadze took an early 7-0 lead against Colorado's Ania Anuszkiewicz and Monica Milewski at the No. 1 position and went on to win, 8-2.

Tara Eckel and Marie-Pier Huet clinched the doubles point win for OU at the No. 2 spot.  Eckel and Huet defeated CU's Erin Sanders and Melisa Esposito, 8-2, in their fourth-straight doubles win this season.  The OU pair played together for the first time this season against Texas Tech after winning the Big 12 No. 2 doubles championship last season.  Eckel and Huet are now 14-2 in Big 12 matches as a pair.

Maria Kalashnikova and Kristina Radan won a hard-fought match at the No. 3 position.  The Sooner duo traded back-and-forth games with CU's Michala Jensen and Abbie Probert to bring the score to 7-7.  Kalashnikova and Radan overtook the Buffs to win, only allowing Jensen and Probert one point in the tiebreaker, 8-7 (1).

With the wins, OU has now won the doubles point in 11 of 14 opportunities this season and has won a combined 29 of 42 (.690) doubles matches.

Eckel claimed OU's first singles point for the second-straight match Sunday.  Eckel defeated Colorado's Erin Sanders at the No. 6 position, 6-1, 6-3.  Eckel has only given up six total game points over her last four sets.

No. 110 Melisa Esposito won Colorado's first dual point, defeating OU's Huet at the No. 2 position, 6-4, 6-1, bringing the team score to 2-1, OU.  Colorado's Abbie Probert then tied the dual score at 2-2 after defeating OU's Kalashnikova at the No. 3 spot, 6-2, 7-5.

Tsertsvadze lost the first set at the No. 4 spot but rallied to win the second and third sets, only giving up three game points to CU's Michala Jensen.  Tsertsvadze beat Jensen, 2-6, 6-0, 6-3, to regain OU's lead in the dual, 3-2.

Radan clinched the win for the Sooners for the third time in OU's last four wins.  Radan defeated CU's Anuszkiewicz at the No. 5 spot, 7-5, 7-6(1), in one of OU's closest singles matches of the season.  With Radan's win, the dual score moved to 4-2, sealing OU's victory.  Before Sunday, Radan had only played in one singles tiebreaker all season.

Colorado's Milewski won the final dual point after beating No. 90 Constantinescu at the No. 1 spot after three sets, 4-6, 6-4, 6-2.

The Sooners continue their six-match home stretch on Thursday, April 1 as they face Marquette at 3:30 p.m.  OU will then return to conference play Saturday, April 3 against No. 35 Texas at 11 a.m.
