NORMAN, Okla. -- Game two of the OU and Baylor series is postponed until Sunday, March 21 after inclement weather halted play on Friday evening at L. Dale Mitchell Park. 

The game will resume with the Sooners trailing 5-0 in the bottom of the third.

The Norman area was hit hard with showers and lightning and is expected to receive more rain and/or snow on Saturday with temperatures in the 30s.

Baylor jumped out on top early with five runs in the first three innings and knocked OU starter Bobby Shore out of the game after 2 1/3 innings. 

The Sooners had Chris Ellison at first base with nobody out and Caleb Bushyhead at the plate when the game was halted at 7:41 p.m.

OU won game one of the series played Friday afternoon, 7-6.  It was the Big 12 opener for both teams.

Game three of the series is slated to begin after the conclusion of game two on Sunday.  Both games will be broadcast live on the Sooner Sports Network on KREF 1400 AM.
 
Tickets purchased for Sunday's game will be redeemed for admission to both games.
