The Sooners reached 20 wins for the 15th time, and fifth consecutive, in program history.  Nine 20-win seasons have come under head coach Sherri Coale.

Nyeshia Stevenson scored her 1,000th career point with her first field goal of the game, becoming the 25th Sooner to do so.  Danielle Robinson and Amanda Thompson had also reached 1,000 career points this season.

Stevenson made a career-high 11 field goals and scored 28 points.  Stevenson was 6-of-8 from 3-point range.

Amanda Thompson scored 13 points and had 16 rebounds for her 10th double-double of the season.

Oklahoma had 14 first-half turnovers – a season high – for the fourth time this season.  The Sooners have won all those games.

Jasmine Hartman played all 40 minutes of the game, a career high.

Oklahoma outrebounded Texas 39-37.  The Sooners are 18-0 when counting more rebounds than their opponent.
