Postgame Notes

• Oklahoma shot .343 from the field and .111 from 3-point range in a 70-63 loss to No. 24 Baylor.  OU's loss was its second straight against the Bears after winning 30 in a row in the series.  The Sooners dropped to 35-7 all-time against Baylor and to 17-3 against the Bears in Norman.

• Baylor's win was its first in Norman since Dec. 6, 1977.  It had lost 14 straight at Lloyd Noble Center.

• Freshman forward Tiny Gallon recorded a career-high 23 points on 11-for-17 field goal shooting and grabbed 15 rebounds for his seventh double-double of the year. He was 8-for-9 from the field in the first half.

• Today marked the fourth time this season that Gallon has recorded at least 15 rebounds in a game.

• Senior forward Ryan Wright came off the bench to score a career-high 14 points in 21 minutes.  He was 6-for-7 from the free throw line and added five rebounds.

• Freshman forward Andrew Fitzgerald set a career high with three assists in his ninth career start.  He scored seven points and grabbed three rebounds in 23 minutes before injuring his ankle late in the contest.

• The starting guard trio of Tony Crocker, Cade Davis and Tommy Mason-Griffin combined to go 7-for-36 (.194) from the field and 2-for-16 (.125) from 3-point range.  The threesome entered the game averaging 35.7 points a game but was held to 19 points.

• Mason-Griffin failed to make a 3-pointer for the just the second time this year (other time was versus San Diego in the season's fourth game).  He was 0-for-6 from deep but finished with eight assists (tied for second most of his career) and a career-high three steals.

• This marked the ninth straight game that Davis has made at least one 3-pointer.  He was 1-for-6.  His previous longest streak was five games this year.

• Oklahoma lost despite outrebounding Baylor 38-30 and committing seven fewer turnovers than the Bears (17-10).

• OU was 1-for-7 on 3-point field goals in the first half and went 1-for-11 in the second.  OU's two makes and .111 percentage marked season lows.

• OU played without sophomore guard Willie Warren (ankle injury).  Warren is averaging a team-high 16.3 points per game on the season.

• In OU's last six games (all losses), opponents are averaging 80.0 points while shooting .507 from the field and .500 from the 3-point range (47-94).  Baylor shot .511 from the field and .500 from behind the arc (7-for-14) today.

• The Sooners play at No. 21 Texas on Monday at 8 p.m. CT.  The game will be televised by ESPN.
