• Kansas State outscored Oklahoma 48-35 in the second half of an 83-68 Wildcats win in Norman.
• The loss was OU's fourth straight on the year and second consecutive at home after it had won 31 of 32 at Lloyd Noble Center.
• OU's loss was its third in the last four games against Kansas State after winning nine in a row. OU fell to 102-90 overall against the Wildcats. K-State improved to 8-20 at Lloyd Noble Center.
• Freshman forward Andrew Fitzgerald tied a career high with 14 points, which he set against Mount St. Mary's in the season opener. Fitzgerald was 7-for-12 from the field today and added five rebounds, two blocks and a steal in his seventh start.
• Freshman point guard Tommy Mason-Griffin scored a team-high 16 points and handed out five assists.
• Mason-Griffin has led OU in scoring in seven of the last nine games (averaging 21.3 points per game in those nine) after not doing it in any of the first 17 games (averaged 10.2 in those 17).
• Mason-Griffin was 4-for-10 from behind the 3-point arc. He has made at least one 3-pointer in 25 of 26 games, at least two treys in all 12 Big 12 outings and at least three 3-pointers in eight conference games.
• Mason-Griffin needs three 3-pointers to tie the OU freshman record for treys in a season (67 by Willie Warren last year). He is 23 assists away from tying the school freshman record for handouts (141 by Terry Evans in 1989-90).
• Senior guard Tony Crocker recorded 11 points, nine rebounds and five assists. He was one of five players who scored in double figures.
• Tiny Gallon played 30 minutes off the bench and produced 10 points, eight rebounds and a career-high four steals.
• OU was 7-for-7 on free throws in the first half but went 3-for-9 in the second.
• During OU's four-game losing streak, opponents have shot .514 from 3-point range (36-for-70). Kansas State was 10-for-20 today.
• OU played without sophomore guard Willie Warren (ankle injury). Warren is averaging a team-high 16.3 points per game on the season.
