Oklahoma Head Coach Sherri Coale
On the game:
“I was really proud of our attention to detail tonight. I thought that, minus the first two minutes, we really stayed emerged in whatever possession we were in, offense or defense. We looked confident, we looked aggressive. We made things happen. We didn't wait for things to happen. Anytime you can shoot over 50 percent from the 3-point line, it all looks pretty good.”

On the team's shooting:
“We just have a lot of weapons. I think that comes from the confidence of the people around the shooter. Knowing when to get it to them, how to get it to them, and lots of positive reps in practice. I'm not surprised by them because I watch them every day.”

On the freshmen:
“I'm really proud of the freshman class. All of them have a strong sense of individual confidence and its sort of been magnified because they're together -- all five of them. In the dorm, they eat their meals together and they come to the gym together. That individual confidence that each one of them has sort of infused one another and, collectively, they're playing like they're experienced. There are things they have to get better at—we sure have to block out better, Vegas [Ellenberg] has got to guard better, and we've got little things we have obviously got to improve upon. As far as poise and understanding how to play, they really get it.”

Oklahoma Senior Guard Danielle Robinson
On Morgan Hook igniting the team with first 3-point basket:
“Her willingness to take the shot and be confident in it definitely sparked us, especially when we were struggling in the first two minutes.”

On the maturation of the young team:
“We realize that we can't just stand around and we knew Mo (Morgan Hook) was hot. We had to keep passing and keep cutting to get her those open shots and make the defense move a little bit. I think that's we really matured. Usually we start standing on offense and today I think we really kept moving it around and got the open person.”

On what she will do to prepare the newcomers for a matchup with Ohio State:
“Just let them go. I think it's the same game. We are playing the same game with the same people on our team and we aren't going to do anything different. Just keep playing hard, keep knocking down shots and go in there looking for a victory.”

Oklahoma Freshman Guard Morgan Hook
On if she realized how well she was shooting:
“I'm too caught up (in the game), but that first one, I knew we had to have a spark somehow because we weren't really performing really well. I just went in and shot it, didn't think and put it in.”
