WEDNESDAY'S GAME PLAN
The OU's women's basketball team completes its preseason Wednesday with its final exhibition game, hosting Cameron University (Lawton, Okla.) at 7 p.m. at the Lloyd Noble Center in Norman. The game will be aired locally on KOKC 1520 AM and can be viewed online at SoonerSports.com via the All-Access Webcast.
Tickets
• Season Tickets are available for as low as $140. Tickets may be purchased online at SoonerSports.com or by calling the OU Athletics Ticket Office at 1-800-456-GoOU.
• Single-game tickets will go on sale to the general public beginning Nov. 19. Prices are $15 for reserved seating, $8 for general admission adults and $5 for general admission youths and senior citizens. OU students receive free admission when presenting a valid ID.
Promotions
• The OU Dunk Team will perform at halftime.
• The official women's basketball team posters and schedule cards will be available to fans on the concourse near entry points of the arena.
The Teams
• Though this preseason meeting is the first in some time, the series between Cameron and Oklahoma goes back to the infancy of both programs. OU and Cameron met in the 1977-78 season opener in Norman and once again later in the season. OU also hosted Cameron in its home opener of the 1982-93 season. OU won each matchup by an average margin of 25 points.
• Oklahoma begins the preseason ranked No. 9 in the USA Today/ESPN Coaches' Poll and No. 10 in the Associated Press Poll.
The Coaches
• Sherri Coale is 313-143 (.686) in her 15th season at Oklahoma. She has been the Big 12 Coach of the Year four times.
• Cameron head coach Tom Webb is in his second season coaching the Lady Aggies, who had a 9-18 record last year.

PREVIEWING OKLAHOMA
The Sooners were picked by the league's coaches to finish third in the Big 12 Conference this season. The media has Oklahoma 10th in the Preseason Associated Press Poll and the USA Today/ESPN Coaches' Poll has Oklahoma at No. 9.
The Sooners enter 2010-11 following back-to-back trips to the Final Four. OU returns eight letterwinners from the squad, including three starters, and introduces six newcomers.
Preseason All-American Danielle Robinson leads the team after a standout junior season in which she averaged 16.8 points and 5.3 assists.
Redshirt sophomore Whitney Hand, who suffered an ACL injury five games into the 2009-10 season is expected back on court in January 2011.
Team Votes Captains for 2010-11
Redshirt-sophomore Whitney Hand and seniors Danielle Robinson and Carlee Roethlisberger are co-captains of the Sooners this season. The captains were voted by their teammates.
D-Rob Racking Preseason Honors
Senior guard Danielle Robinson has been touted as the game's top point guard this season, and the watch lists have given notice as she appears as a candidate for virtually every award.

PREVIEWING CAMERON
NCAA Division II Cameron University begins its second season under the guidance of head coach Tom Webb. The Lady Aggies were picked to finish fifth in the Lone Star Conference.
Cameron senior Josie Stewart was the LSC Newcomer of the Year and an all-conference second team player last season. The guard averaged 18.1 points and 6.3 rebounds.
NJCAA All-American Sabelle Diata will push for the conference newcomer of the year award in 2010-11 after finishing a career a Northeastern (Colo.) Junior College as the program's all-time leading scorer and rebounder.
CU lost an exhibition game to Tulsa, 76-52, on Nov. 6. Diata led the Lady Aggies with 15 points and six rebounds while Stewart provided an additional nine points.
SOONERS THIRD IN BIG 12 VOTE
The University of Oklahoma was selected third in the Big 12 Women's Basketball Coaches' Preseason Poll released Oct. 7.
Baylor was chosen as the preseason favorite to win the 2010-11 Big 12 women's basketball regular season title for the second consecutive year. The Lady Bears received all of the possible 11 first-place votes (coaches cannot vote for their own team).
Texas A&M, winner of the 2010 Phillips 66 Big 12 Women's Basketball Championship, was picked second and nabbed the other first-place vote.
Texas was chosen fourth followed by Iowa State and Kansas. Nebraska, last year's regular season champion, was seventh, followed by Oklahoma State in eighth; Kansas State ninth, Texas Tech in 10th, Missouri 11th and Colorado 12th.

ROBINSON, HAND NAMED PRESEASON ALL-BIG 12
Oklahoma's Danielle Robinson was named to the Preseason All-Big 12 Women's Basketball First Team while injured Sooner Whitney Hand was an honorable mention, announced Oct. 12. It was Robinson's second consecutive year on the preseason team voted by the league's coaches. Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own players.
Baylor's Brittney Griner and Melissa Jones, Iowa State's Kelsey Bolte and Texas A&M's Danielle Adams joined Robinson on the Preseason All-Big 12 Team.
