• Chaminade's Steven Bennett hit a driving layup with 16 seconds remaining to break a 64-64 tie and Mamadou Diarra made a pair of free throws with eight seconds left to defeat Oklahoma on the third day of the EA SPORTS Maui Invitational.  The Sooners finished 0-3 in the tournament and fell to 3-3 on the year.

• The Sooners lost despite shooting .472 from the field (third best mark of the year) and committing a season-low eight turnovers (they averaged 17.0 turnovers the previous three games).

• Chaminade outrebounded OU 31-28 and scored 17 second-chance points to the Sooners' 11.

• Junior guard Cade Davis scored a season-high 24 points (one shy of his career high) and added a team-high six rebounds.  Davis averaged 20.7 points and 5.7 boards in the tournament.  He now needs just five treys to move into the top 10 on OU's all-time list.

• Sophomore forward Andrew Fitzgerald was the only other Sooner who scored in double figures (11 points).  He was 5-for-8 from the field and is shooting .561 on the year.

• Sophomore guard Carl Blair (nine points, five assists) and freshman forward Tyler Neal (one point, two rebounds) made their first starts as Sooners.

• Oklahoma entered the Maui Invitational shooting .806 from the free throw line but recorded a .587 figure (27-for-46) over its three games in Hawaii.  OU is now shooting .717 on the season.
