NORMAN, Okla. -- The University of Oklahoma baseball will host the annual Red/White Series starting with game one on Monday, Oct. 25 at L. Dale Mitchell Park.
The five-game series comes near the end of team practices this fall for the Sooners, which started on Sept. 21. The games are free and open to the public.
Game one is tentatively scheduled for a 3:30 p.m. first pitch at L. Dale Mitchell Park and all the contests in the best-of-five series are free and open to the public.
The remainder of the schedule for the series is as follows:
Game 2 - Oct. 27
Game 3 - Oct. 30
Game 4 - Nov. 1
Game 5 - Nov. 3
Juniors Cameron Seitzer and Tyler Ogle will captain the Red team and Garrett Buechele and Michael Rocha will lead the White squad.
"We are excited to get the series started," said OU Head Coach Sunny Golloway. "It's always a competitive set of games and an exciting way to conclude our team practices in the fall."
The game one pitching matchup will feature Burch Smith (Red) against Dillon Overton (White).
