Danielle Robinson attempted more than one 3-pointer in a game for the first time in her career, making one of four attempts Wednesday. Robinson entered the contest 1-for-6 this season and 1-for-9 for her career beyond the arc.

Amanda Thompson had three assists to give her 247 for her career.  Thompson is the only player in Sooner history to amass the combination of that great an assist number and over 700 rebounds and 150 steals.  Thompson is also 75 points shy of becoming OU's 24th career 1,000-point scorer.

With 12 points and 10 rebounds, Thompson collected her fifth double-double of the season.

Nyeshia Stevenson scored 14 points to lead Oklahoma in scoring for the third consecutive game.  Stevenson was one point shy of leading a game in scoring for a third straight time.

Oklahoma fell to Iowa State for the eighth time in the last nine meetings at Hilton Coliseum.  Of Iowa State's 18 wins in the 48-game series, 13 have come in Ames, Iowa.

Iowa State outrebounded Oklahoma 37-36.  It was just the fifth time the Sooners had lost the battle of the boards this season.  OU is 1-5 when being outrebounded, but 13-0 when they hold the advantage.
