NORMAN, Okla. -- Amanda Thompson knows not to take anything for granted.

Oklahoma's senior forward has experienced first-hand the ups and downs of a college career. She battled through a shoulder injury her freshman year, started all 31 games as a sophomore, then missed the stretch run of OU's march to the Final Four run last season with a foot injury.

Through it all, however, she has never complained and has continued to work tirelessly day-in and day-out.

It is that toughness and work ethic that have defined Thompson's career perhaps more than anything else. It is what continues to motivate her, and it is what will continue to make her successful no matter what is thrown her way.

Thompson reflects on her career at Oklahoma thus far in the latest women's basketball video profile.
