Men's Hoops Student Season Tickets Sold Out

NORMAN, Okla. -- Student season tickets for the 2009-10 Oklahoma men's basketball season have been sold out, the OU Athletics Ticket Office announced Friday. It marks the second consecutive season for student season tickets to sell out.
"Our team issues a big collective thanks to the OU student body for its support of our program this week," head coach Jeff Capel said. "To sell our complete allotment of student season tickets in only three days illustrates how much this program has grown in just a couple of years.
"Our fans, both students and non-students, are a huge part of our team and we need them to be at our games, and we need them to be loud and supportive. So students, we thank you!"
Student season ticket holders who use their tickets for 14 or more games (90 percent) will have $140 credited back to their bursar account courtesy of the OU Athletics Department. Any student season ticket holder who attends at least 12 of the games (80 percent) will have a $50 credit put back on their bursar account.
Another feature this season is the opportunity for student season ticket holders to print their tickets at home. Students who purchased season tickets will be eligible to print each ticket during the designated distribution period outlined below:
* The OU Athletics Ticket Office will be closed Monday, Jan. 18 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
The men's basketball schedule features 15 regular season home contests. Schedule highlights include non-conference visits from Arkansas and Arizona and conference rivals Oklahoma State, Texas and Missouri. The 2009-10 season tips off when the Sooners host an exhibition game on Nov. 3 against the University of British Columbia.
