Know Your Sooners: FB Newcomers

NORMAN, Okla. -- There are 22 new faces on the OU football roster this fall. In this edition of Know Your Sooners, get acquainted with freshmen QB Drew Allen, DB Javon Harris, RB Jonathan Miller and WR Jaz Reynolds. Stay tuned for future installments with more of the newcomers.

Jobs I've held...	I worked at a bakery in San Antonio.	I was a referee at the YMCA in Lawton and worked at a warehouse called Lawton Winnelson.	I used to mow lawns.	I worked for a state representative during the summer.
Outside of football, I like _____.	Hunting, fishing and playing golf.	Watching cartoons.	Playing basketball and making people laugh.	I love talking to people, watching movies and dancing even though I can't dance.
_____ is the event that most shaped my life.	My family has really helped me through a lot and the support of the people in my community.	Getting a scholarship to play football.	Starting to play football.	Transferring high schools. If I had stayed at my old high school I most likely would have played basketball.
I wear No. __ because...	I wanted 17, but Mossis had it. My favorite baseball player, Lance Berkman, wears No 17.	They just gave it to me, but I would like to change it after this year.	It is close to the number of my favorite player.	It was the number I was given and it was also my high school number.
Game or practice superstitions...	I like to listen to Juke Joint Johnny by Red Sovine.	None really.	I always pray and listen to music before games.	None, I just get out there and play.
The most interesting place I've visited was...	Cozumel, Mexico	North Carolina	Memphis, Tenn.	Beaverton, Ore., and the Nike Headquarters for a basketball tournament.
My mother's/father's occupation is...	My mother is the greatest mom in the world and my dad is a business owner/contractor.	My mother owns a beauty salon called A Nu Image and my father is the CEO at Duncan's Simmons Center.	My dad works for Courier, and my mother is a Sunglass manager.	My mother is a middle school librarian, and my father is a high school principal.
