Daniel McCutchen is also excelling with the Indianapolis Indians (AAA) in the Pittsburgh Pirates organization.  McCutchen is 8-5 and has won each of his last four starts and lasted five or more innings in his last 10 appearances.

Making the jump from Class A to Class AA in 2009 is catcher Jackson Williams (Connecticut Defenders) and Chuckie Caufield (Huntsville Stars). Williams has had an impressive 2009 campaign so far and has hit safely in seven out of the last nine games played with four RBIs.

Making his minor league debut with only five games under his belt, former catcher J.T. Wise has already made an impact on the Ogden Raptors hitting .381 on the season, along with one homerun and four RBIs.

SOONERS IN THE MAJORS
Chris Jakubauskas is the latest Sooner to debut in the big leagues in 2009 with eight starts for the Seattle Mariners. He has made a total 15 appearances for the Mariners this season.

Russ Ortiz has made it back to the Majors during the 2009 season and has joined the Houston Astros pitching rotation.
