It's gameday in St. Louis with the Sooners taking on Louisville in the first national semifinal at 6 p.m.

A day out from its national semifinal game against Louisville, it was a busy day in St. Louis for the Oklahoma women's basketball team.
The Sooners began the day at the Renaissance Hotel, where Courtney Paris was honored as a State Farm WBCA Coaches' All-American for the fourth straight year.
Then, it was off to the Scottrade Center where hundreds of OU fans came out to see the Sooners during their open practice and autograph session. Coach Coale and members of the team also participated in Media Day activities, and Paris collected yet another award as the recipient of the 2009 Lowe's Senior CLASS Award for women's basketball.

The OU women's basketball team made a brief visit to St. Louis' most famous landmark Friday afternoon, the Gateway Arch. Rising to a height of 630 feet, the historic monument offered an impressive view of the city.
The ride to the top was far from cozy, however. With five people crammed into a tiny egg-shaped elevator chamber that frequently had to level itself due to the curvature of the Arch, it was a jerky ride to say the least.
All-in-all, the consensus was that it was well worth it, and the team took time for a unique photo opportunity afterwards. View photos and video from the team's visit to the Arch by clicking the links to the right.
Earlier in the day, Coach Coale and the Sooners hit the practice court at Harris-Stowe State University, an NAIA school located just a few miles away from the team hotel in downtown St. Louis.

The University of Oklahoma women's basketball team arrived at the site of the Final Four Thursday evening to a festive crowd at the Sheraton St. Louis City Center.
The top-seeded Sooners, winners of the Oklahoma City Regional, meet 3-seed Louisville, the Raleigh champion, Sunday at 6 p.m. Central in the national semifinals at Scottrade Center. The game will be televised nationally on ESPN.
OU began the day with its final practice of the season at the Lloyd Noble Center, an intense workout that received praise from the head coach.
"It was a tremendous way to leave Norman," OU head coach Sherri Coale said. "The determination and intensity in today's practice was certainly the right way to get this long week started."
The group was sent off spectacularly to the tune of Boomer Sooner and the applause of several dozen fans, who crowded near the team buses to get a final look at the Sooners before they take to the grandest stage in women's college basketball.
Oklahoma will rest tonight in anticipation of an early practice Friday morning. The Sooners will also have the opportunity to tour the famous St. Louis Arch before joining its Final Four compatriots for a Salute Dinner later in the evening.
