AUSTIN, Texas – The University of Oklahoma men's golf squad returns to the links March 30-31, at the 43rd annual Morris Williams Intercollegiate, held at the par-71, 7,412-yard University of Texas Golf Club in Austin, Texas. 

The Sooners are one of 18 teams in the 54-hole stroke play event, held in the honor of former University of Texas golf star Morris Williams, Jr., who died in a plane crash while serving in the Air Force in 1953.

Joining Oklahoma in the stacked field that features seven teams in the latest GCAA top-20 are Air Force, No. 17 Arkansas, Baylor, BYU, New Mexico, New Mexico State, No. 3 Oklahoma State, Pepperdine, Rice, SMU, No. 18 TCU, No. 15 Texas, No. 20 Texas A&M, No. 13 Texas Tech, Tulsa, UNLV and No. 2 USC.

The OU lineup features Ben Blundell, Liam Logan, Riley Pumphrey, Tyler Rody and Ryan Sirman.  The Sooners are playing with BYU and SMU in the first round, with an 8:30 a.m. (CT) shotgun start on Monday.  

Oklahoma is coming off of a 16th-place finish at the Schenkel E-Z Go Invitational on March 16, in which it was led by the duo of Logan and Pumphrey, who both shared 42nd. 

It's the second to last regular season event for the Sooners who close their regular season slate at the ASU Thunderbird Invitational on April 10-11.
