IRVING, Texas -- Oklahoma's Courtney Paris was named Phillips 66 Big 12 Women's Basketball Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday.

It was the second time this season Paris was named player of the week and 19th time in her career, a Big 12 Conference record.

Paris averaged 20.5 points, 17.5 rebounds and four blocks to help the Sooners move to 12-0 in the league standings and increase their overall winning streak to a program-record 20 games.

The senior scored 23 points and 20 rebounds in OU's 80-72 win at Texas Tech Wednesday, Feb. 17. She supplied 15 points in the second half as the Sooners rallied from a nine-point deficit to take victory. Paris was 0-of-3 from the free throw line in the first half but accumulated charity points when it mattered most, shooting 7-for-10 from the stripe over the final 20 minutes of the game.

Paris scored 18 points and, more importantly, 15 rebounds and five blocks, suppressing Baylor's second chances as the Sooners counted a plus-20 rebound margin in their 80-72 victory Saturday, Feb. 21. The three-time All-American added an assist and a steal during a season-high 38 minutes on the court.

The second-ranked Sooners play at No. 12 Texas A&M Monday night at 6:30 p.m. on ESPN2.

Oklahoma is one win shy of claiming a share of its sixth Big 12 regular-season title and the top seed for the Big 12 Championship at Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City.
