Oklahoma Golf Travels to San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO – The University of Oklahoma men's golf squad returns to the links Feb. 16-17, at the 14th-annual UTSA Oak Hills Invitational at Oak Hills Country Club in San Antonio, Texas.
The Sooners are joined by Air Force, Central Arkansas, DePaul, Illinois State, Louisiana-Monroe, McNeese State, Sam Houston State, Stephen F. Austin, Texas Tech, Texas State, UT Arlington, UTSA and Wichita State at the 6,691-yard, par-72 layout.
The 54-hole event features two rounds on Monday, commencing with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. (CT) and the afternoon round following immediately after. Tuesday's final-round tee times begin at 7:30 a.m.
Four of the five OU golfers from last week's 10th-place finish at the UH-Hilo Invitational have made the trip to San Antonio. This week's Oklahoma lineup features Ben Blundell, Liam Logan, Riley Pumphrey, Ryan Sirman and Chris Wilson. Sirman is making his first appearance of the spring, while Blundell, Pumphrey and Logan enter Monday's first round off of top-30 appearances in OU's spring opener.
Oklahoma finished second in the event last season behind a second-place finish from Phillip Bryan.
