NORMAN, Okla. -- Get to know the members of the OU men's basketball team. Each week throughout the season, we will feature a different student-athlete to gain some insight into their lives both on and off the court.
We begin with Steven Pledger, a true freshman who has had a big impact in just his first few games as a Sooner.
Pledger hails from Chesapeake, Va., an area with a reputation of producing Division I athletic talent. On the court, Pledger is known best for his shooting ability. Away from the game, he is soft-spoken but describes himself as funny, crazy and spontaneous.
