GAME PREVIEW
No. 18 Oklahoma returns to the Lloyd Noble Center Thursday, Dec. 2, where they will face Texas-Arlington at 7 p.m. The OU radio broadcast of Brian Brinkley and Kendra Wecker can be heard over the air on KOKC 1520 AM in Oklahoma City and online at SoonerSports.com through CBS College Sports All-Access.
The first 1,000 fans through doors will receive replica OU poms.
TICKET INFORMATION
General admission tickets are available for adults are $8. Youth (K-12) tickets are $5. Lloyd Noble Center's ticket box offices will open one and one-half hours prior to tip-off.
OU students who present a valid student I.D. are admitted free.

ABOUT THE MATCHUP
Oklahoma is ranked No. 18 in the both the Associated Press and USA Today/ESPN Coaches' Polls.
UT-Arlington is not ranked.
Oklahoma is 4-2 after finishing the U.S. Virgin Islands Paradise Jam 2-1 with wins over South Carolina and then-No. 23 San Diego State and a loss to No. 5 Notre Dame.
UT-Arlington is 3-3 after finishing the Basketball Traveler's Classic in Lubbock, Texas, 1-2 with losses to Prairie View and Texas Tech and a win over San Francisco.
The Series
UT-Arlington and Oklahoma are meeting for the 12th time. OU leads the overall series 8-3, and 4-2 in Norman. UTA has won the last three meetings.
OU and UT-Arlington played regularly from 1980 to 1993 but have not met since the Mavericks beat the Sooners in Arlington, 80-59, on Feb. 2, 1993.

Sherri Coale is 289-134 (.683) in her 14th season at Oklahoma. She has been the Big 12 Coach of the Year four times.
UT-Arlington head coach Samantha Morrow is (44-24, .647) in her third season with the Mavericks.
PREVIEWING OKLAHOMA
The Sooners were picked by the league's coaches to finish fifth in the strong Big 12 Conference this season.
The Sooners enter 2009-10 following one of its best seasons in history. Oklahoma notched a program record 32 wins, won its sixth Big 12 regular season title and made its second trip to the Final Four. OU returns eight letterwinners from the squad, including three starters. Preseason Wooden Award candidate Danielle Robinson and senior co-captain Amanda Thompson will lead the charge.

PREVIEWING UT-ARLINGTON
UT-Arlington plays the fourth of 11 consecutive games on the road Thursday night in Norman.
The Mavericks finished last week with a 2-2 record and a 3-3 mark on the season. The Mavericks handled the Kangaroos of UMKC, 72-61 on Tuesday, Nov. 24, but dropped the first and second games of the Basketball Traveler's Classic to Prairie
View A&M and Texas Tech.
The Mavericks received 53 points and three first-place votes in the Southland Conference Coaches' Preseason Poll. The Mavs tallied 55 points and five first-place votes in the SID poll.
Overall UT Arlington was picked second behind Lamar, who finished third in the West Division last season. The Cardinals received 59 points and six first-place votes for the top spot.
SDSU WIN SETS MARGIN RECORD
Oklahoma's 87-48 win over then-No. 23 San Diego State set the program record for margin of victory over a ranked opponent.
The game was played Friday, Nov. 27, at the U.S. Virgin Islands Paradise Jam in St. Thomas. OU stormed to a 47-15 halftime lead and never relenquished, winning by 39 points.
The previous OU record for margin of victory over a ranked opponent was 34 points from a 105-71 victory over then-No. DePaul in the 2006-07 season opener on Nov. 12, 2006.
