Wet Grounds Nix Sooner Fan Fest

NORMAN, Okla. -- University of Oklahoma officials announced this morning that the Fan Fest pre-game activities prior to Saturday's Oklahoma-Baylor game have been canceled due to wet grounds.
Steady rain for the last three days has saturated the Fan Fest area, which is located at the John Jacobs Track east of Gaylord Family - Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. This marks the second time this year that wet grounds have nixed the event.
One aspect of Fan Fest that will go off as planned is an autograph session with former players D.J. Wolfe and Jacob Gutierrez. That signing will take place from 12:45-1:30 p.m., on the Switzer Center Courtyard.
