Women's Basketball: Inside the Guide

NORMAN, Okla. -- The 2010 Oklahoma Women's Basketball Team Guide is now online. This special feature on SoonerSports.com takes a look behind the scenes at the award-winning publication produced by the Oklahoma Athletics Department.

During the preseason, members of the women's basketball team were photographed in scenes around town and at the Lloyd Noble Center with Norman-based photographer Ty Russell or Tulsa-based photographer Joey Johnson. The themes in each player's shot represent an aspect of their personality or athletics talent. Each of OU's 10 women's basketball student-athletes have a uniqueness that plays an important role in how the team works. As it is, the theme of this year's season is "All In."

The season begins Nov. 13 as the Sooners host Mercer at the Lloyd Noble Center at 7 p.m. Season tickets are on sale now. For tickets, call the OU Athletics Ticket Office at 1-800-456-GoOU or visit the women's basketball tickets page on SoonerSports.com.
