Huge Women's Hoops Games Ahead

NORMAN, Okla. -- A limited number of tickets remain for the University of Oklahoma's women's basketball team's next two home games.

Fans are encouraged the purchase tickets in advance of the Sooners matchups versus No. 14 Texas Sunday, Jan. 25, at 12 p.m. and Missouri, Saturday, Jan. 31, at 12:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online at SoonerSports.com or by calling the OU Athletics Ticket Office at 1-800-456-GoOU (4668).

(Note: tip-off times for both games have changed from previously announced schedules.)

The second-ranked Sooners look to maintain perfection in the Big 12 and vie for their sixth Big 12 Championship.

Sunday is Girl Scouts Day at the Lloyd Noble Center and the OU Athletics Marketing Department will distribute rally towels to the first 5,000 Sooner fans through the doors, which open at 10:30 a.m.

Single-Game Tickets: $8 - Public General Admission | $5 - Youth General Admission

Saturday, Jan. 31, is Sooner Kids Club Day. OU will host a special pregame event for Sooner Kids Club members and their immediate families. Spots must be reserved by contacting the Sooner Kids Club at (405) 325-5836.

Sooner Kids Club members get free admission to all OU Women's Basketball Games. Parents are eligible for discounted tickets for this game by contacting the Sooner Kids Club for more information. Pregame party includes food provided by Chick-Fil-A, giveaways and activities for kids.

Moore Elementary Schools were provided 3,000 complimentary tickets for the Missouri game, compliments of an NCAA Women's Basketball grant awarded to the University of Oklahoma following last season. A prize drawing at halftime will determine which Moore schools receive one of three cash gifts to be used for school supplies or programs benefitting students.

Also on the horizon is Oklahoma's non-conference meeting with defending national champion Tennessee. The Lady Volunteers and Sooners meet for ESPN2's Big Monday on Feb. 2, 6:30 p.m., at the Ford Center in Oklahoma City.
