NORMAN, Okla. – Ranked in the top 10 for the first time in two seasons, the 10th-ranked Oklahoma wrestling squad will look to push its record to 12-0 this Sunday, Jan. 11, when it visits Chattanooga, Tenn., to take on the Mocs at 12 p.m. CST.

Chattanooga (6-5), member of the Southern Conference, will host the Sooners at the Maclellan Gym. Fans may follow live stats of the match by clicking here.

OU boasts seven individually ranked wrestlers this week, led by No. 9 Jeff James and Eric Lapotsky at 174 and 197 pounds, respectively. Joey Fio is No. 12 at 125 pounds and 157-pounder Shane Vernon is No. 14. Ranked 15th is Kyle Terry, while Pat Flynn and Nathan Fernandez are 19th at 184 pounds and heavyweight, respectively.

Chattanooga's Cody Cleveland is No. 9 at 141 pounds and Seth Garvin (165 pounds) and Joey Knox (157) are No. 19.

OU is coming off an impressive performance at the Lonestar Duals in Texas last weekend, defeating North Carolina, Nebraska-Kearney, Appalachian State and Stanford by a combined 137-16 margin.

With the successful start to the season, head coach Jack Spates has now led Oklahoma to 14 straight seasons of at least 10 wins. The Sooners are 1-0 in the Big 12 for the first time since 1993 with a victory over in-state rival Oklahoma State on Dec. 7, and are off to their best start since 1985 (Stan Abel's squad began 12-0).
