OU Rowing Holds First Meeting

NORMAN, Okla. - The 2008-2009 women's rowing staff is working hard to prepare for its first season at OU. An informational meeting was held by Head Coach Leeanne Crain and assistants Andy Derrick and Kris Muhl to introduce the program to athletes interested in joining the novice team.

The meeting was held in the Kerr McGee Stadium Club in the football stadium on Tuesday, Sept. 2. New rowing equipment recently arrived from Pocock Racing Shells in Seattle, Wash., including a new boat trailer and boats.
