Away from the football field, you can find me…
I just like to hang out with friends and laugh a lot.
My interest is my education and focusing on getting my degree in engineering. I also like to hang out, relax and watch my favorite TV show - "Martin."
I hang out and play a lot of video games on XBox 360, mostly NCAA Football 2009 and NBA 2K8.
I like to play video games, chill with friends and play basketball.
The event that most shaped my life was...
Sports really helped me develop a hard work ethic and taught me that not everything in life is easy. They have helped me to become the person I am today.
Growing up, I was raised by my grandparents and had to overcome many obstacles. It made me a stronger person.
When I signed with OU it definitely determined my future. I realized it held a lot of opportunities and was a very important decision in my life.
My parents splitting up made me grow up faster.

The reason I wear No. __ is…

No. 4 was my high school number. I picked it because there are four years of high school and I wanted everyone to remember that I would be showing up every single year.
No. 19 is the number they gave me. If I could pick my own number, I would pick No. 2 because it has been my number since the sixth grade.
No. 24 was my high school number all four years.
There is not a reason behind my number, but I want to change it to a lower number next year.
My pre-game superstition is…
I pray before every game.
In high school I wore the same socks the whole year. My coaches finally made me change them and then we lost that game.
I listen to a playlist on my iPod to hype me up and I always pray.
I always pray and wear my kneepads on my knees during pregame.
The most interesting place I've visited is…
I went to Panama City, Fla., for spring break.
Los Angeles, Calif. You see a lot more diversity there and there are all different kinds of people.
I went to Ontario, Canada, for vacation. I also visited Los Angeles, and Hollywood is a totally different world than anything I've ever seen.
Florida
My mother's/father's occupation is...
My mom and dad are both retired. My mom is retired from a glass company and my dad is a retired police officer.
My mom is a health administrator and my dad owns his own business that has to do with oil.
My mom is the general manager for Down magazine and my dad is the president of The Source hip hop magazine.
My mother is a home nurse.
