NORMAN, Okla. - The University of Oklahoma men's golf squad concludes the regular season May 10-11 at The Maxwell in Ardmore, Okla. The 54-hole event is being contested at the Par-70, 6,453-Yard Dornick Hills Country Club.

The Oklahoma line-up features Phillip Bryan, Liam Logan, Tyler Rody, Jesse Schutte and Ryan Sirman. OU sophomores Ben Blundell and Eric Durbin will compete as individuals.

The Sooners start the event on the 12th hole at 8 a.m. (CST). The Maxwell utilizes a unique format in that all five players from a respective school play in the same group.

Also unique to the event, the tournament features a scoring format where the top four scores from each hole are counted as opposed to the traditional top for individual rounds.

Oklahoma will play 36 holes on Saturday while the final round will conclude on Sunday.
OU finished seventh in the event last season. Oklahoma was paced by former Sooner Nick Sheedy who placed 28th after rounds of 72, 70 and 71.

Following the event, OU moves on to the NCAA West Regional in Bremerton, Wash., at Gold Mountain Golf Club.

Held May 15-17, OU is battling for one of 10 spots into the NCAA Championship.
