David Godbold's 28-footer with 1.4 seconds left gave the Sooners a 66-64 win at Texas Tech.  OU became the first team to beat the Red Raiders inside United Spirit Arena (they were 11-0 entering the day with an average home victory margin of 15.3 points).

• The road win was OU's fourth of the season.  It also won at TCU, West Virginia and Baylor (West Virginia and Baylor were ranked at the time of competition).  The Sooners won only one road game last year.

• Oklahoma improved to 17-8 on the year and 5-5 in the Big 12.  With six regular season games left, the Sooners have already surpassed last year's win total of 16.

• OU posted its fourth win of the season when trailing at halftime (Texas Tech led 35-31 today).  Last year, OU was 0-13 when behind at the break.

• Junior guard Austin Johnson scored a career-high 20 points with the help of 6-for-11 3-point shooting.  The six treys were also a career high.  Johnson also registered three steals.

• OU's leading scorer on the year, freshman Blake Griffin was held to nine points on 2-for-9 field goal shooting.  His 17 rebounds, however, marked a career high.

• In his second game back after missing two contests with a broken bone in his leg, senior center Longar Longar came off the bench to supply 10 points on 5-for-8 shooting.  He played 26 minutes.

• The win was OU's first of the Jeff Capel era when its opponent shot at least .500 from the field (Tech was 24-for-48 for a .500 mark).

• The Sooners posted a 36-26 rebounding advantage and grabbed 16 offensive boards to Tech's eight.

• With today's victory, Oklahoma has clinched its 27th straight winning season.  No other Big 12 team has more consecutive winning seasons than OU (Kansas has clinched its 25th straight winning campaign).

• The Sooners return home to face Baylor on Tuesday at 7 p.m. CST.  OU is tied with the Bears for fifth place in the Big 12 standings.
