DALLAS, Texas - The University of Oklahoma men's golf squad closes out the fall portion of its schedule Oct. 27-28, at the Baylor Intercollegiate in Dallas, Texas. The 54-hole event at Royal Oaks Country Club features rounds one and two on Monday, followed by the final 18 holes Tuesday morning.
OU enters the tournament off of a win at the Macdonald Cup on Oct. 5.
The inaugural event at the par-71, 7,068-yard course features a 12-team field that includes No. 14 Arkansas, tournament-host and 17th-ranked Baylor, BYU, College of Charleston, Houston, Kansas, Lamar, New Mexico, SMU, Saint Mary's and No. 22 Texas A&M.
The Sooners are one of four teams in the field to win an event this season, with the Razorbacks and Bears already winning a pair of titles on the year.
"We look to carry that momentum from our win into this week," said head coach Jim Ragan. "You always want to have a good showing heading into the offseason to build some confidence for spring play, and we look to accomplish that against a very talented field."
OU's lineup features Ben Blundell, Eric Durbin, Liam Logan, Riley Pumphrey and Chris Wilson.
Logan is coming off of a career-best second-place finish at the Macdonald Cup and has carded a 72.44 stroke average through three fall events to lead the Sooners.
