What initially attracted you to rowing? |
My Spanish teacher in high school sparked my interest in rowing.

Its a team sport and there was no experience neccessary, anyone can do it.
|
I was a swimmer in high school, and my friends encouraged me to try something new.
|
Why did you join the OU rowing team? |
I wanted be apart of the rich athletic tradition at OU and learn from the best coaches in the country.

I was on the club team and wanted to stay with it, and I wanted to represent the University.
|
I wanted to be apart of OU athletics and have the opportunity to row for our coaches.

What makes rowing unique? |
Only other rowers can truly appreciate the work that goes into it.
|
Rowing is a team sport and you are only as good as your weakest person.
|
No one but other rowers can ever understand how much dedication and pain goes into winning.
