What makes rowing unique? |
It looks easy, but it is very tough.

It is the most team oriented sport I've ever been apart of.

The ability to take eight people and turn them into a unit.

Every person in the boat is counting on everyone else to do their job right.

What attracted you to rowing? |
|
My great-grandfather won an Olympic Gold medal and I decided to give it a try.

I have always loved the water and fell in love with the sport.

It is the ultimate team sport and takes everyone in the boat working together.

Why did you join OU's first rowing team? |
To be apart of a team that can make a statement as the foundation of the program.

I transferred from UCF with Coach Crain and the assistants and have a lot of confidence in their abilities.

I have always wanted to apart of OU athletics and am honored to be one of the first women's rowers here.

I played three sports in high school and looked forward to helping build a new program at OU, setting the bar for the future program
