NORMAN, Okla. -- Student season tickets for returning students for the 2007-08 men's basketball season will be on sale Tuesday, Sept. 25 and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
In an effort to better serve the student body, tickets will be sold online at SoonerSports.com. Internet ordering will be available starting at 8 a.m. on September 25 and lasting as long as availability exists.
If tickets remain, walk-up sales will begin on September 25 at 10 a.m. at the OU Athletics Ticket Office, located on the South Plaza Level of Asp Avenue Parking Garage.
New and transfer student basketball season ticket sign-up will begin, Wednesday, Sept. 26 online at 8 a.m., and in person at 10 a.m. at the OU Athletics Ticket Office. A lottery will be held on September 27 if demand exceeds supply.
Student season tickets are $130 and will be charged to the student's bursar account. A $5 non refundable service fee will be applied to all online orders.
The men's basketball schedule features 17 regular season home contests. Schedule highlights include visits from Arkansas, Tulsa and conference rivals Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, Texas and Texas A&M. The 2007-08 season unofficially gets underway when the Sooners host an exhibition game on Oct. 31 against Rockhurst University. A second home exhibition will be played Nov. 2 versus Fayetteville State.
